My head is swimming in thoughts. I'm thinking about quantitative and qualitative measurement. I'm thinking about social media and its affordances to education thanks to a wonderful presentation by Dr. Christine Greenhow. I'm thinking about political action and marginalized populations thanks to another wonderful presentation by Dr. Matt Diemer! I'm thinking about TPACK thanks to Dr. Matt Koehler , just because he's Matt Koehler, and because he did take a short moment to focus on his work during today's class! Additionally, the image of an hourglass securely rests in my mind as I think about how Dr. Cary Roseth carefully explained the connections between our research interests, our future research questions, and the importance of well planned methods, carefully selected samples... all tied to our analysis, conclusions and implications! All this and I still have several readings for homework! Some of the EPET students here at Owen Hall joke about how we are just trying to stay above water! So true. We are swimming in a sea of knowledge and getting soaked!
